My name is Kay Evans. I am a Makaton Tutor and Special Needs teacher with 35 years of experience. I offer both face-to-face and online Makaton Training. I can work with schools and nurseries to boost communication skills through Makaton-based sessions. I provide communication advice, support and training.
Learn the Makaton Core Vocabulary
Learn the signs and symbols of the Makaton Vocabulary and how to use them to support people with a wide range of communication needs. This is accredited, certificated training offered only by licensed tutors. Build up your knowledge gradually by starting with Level 1 and working up to level 4*.

My mission for SignHear is simple, I endeavour to help people learn and to know how to be heard.
For this I make developing people's communication skills fun, friendly and open to everyone. I teach signing in a relaxed, playful way that helps people connect, feel included, and express themselves with confidence.
I focus on Early Years Settings, Emergency Services, Carers, Doctors, Nurses and Dentists, as well as courses based on everyday vocabulary.
